Could't recommend Nicola enough. I purchased a Welsh Cob who was petrified with his own shadow and had a problem with being mounted. With Nicola's help and within very few sessions I was on him and enjoying him even though I am not the most confident.

I met Nicola by chance when she popped in to introduce herself more than 10 years ago. It was the start of a great relationship for both me and my horses. She has energy, great expertise, and a great way when handling and training, She has patience and adaptability and starts the youngsters and brings them on at a pace to suits them. All my horses have excellent manners and are easy to be with once Nicola has worked her skills with them. She can train to whatever level you want in any discipline, I recommend her to anyone.

I first met Nicola over 20 years ago when she came to our yard to help with a young horse. From the off, I was truly impressed with her manner and knowledge of horses. Nicola helped me with my 4yo Dutch Warmblood who was a lot of horse. She is a fantastic rider with a calm approach, which certainly gets results. I have sent many horses to Nicola for breaking or producing, from Andalucian stallions to retraining TBs. She gets the job done, and they all come back well-mannered and super super level-headed. The groundwork and hacking she does with them is second to none, with no gizmos and gadgets, no hard hands, a pleasure to recommend.

If you have a horse that’s lacking confidence send it to Nic! I sent her my little warmblood mare who was very tricky as a youngster. The idea was just to get her sat on, as I didn’t think we would get very far, but she came home a brave and different horse, happy in the arena as well as hacking out with her little dog for company! Nicola is very calming and excellent at instilling confidence in the young horses. As she says… ‘hug her with legs, tell her everything is going to be ok!’ and it was!

Nicola has a wealth of experience with horses, having particular strengths and success with youngsters; where her methods and approaches put the horses welfare, both physically and mentally first. Nicola uses feedback from the horse effectively when deciding the best methods to use. as such she approaches each horse as an individual.
